The museum is expanding ...
The museum is expanding as we now have display at the Academy in Ione and in the process of creating displays at the Clark Training Center in the Riverside Unit, The Los Osos Training Center in the San Luis Obispo Unit and in conjunction with the Forest Fire Lookout Association - San Diego - Riverside Chapter at Boucher LO.
The calendar for 2010 being printed and we are soliciting sales a copy of the brochure is on the web page

Address needed for Policy Book donation
I have a book of RULES & REGULATIONS of the California Department of Forestry / Department of Natural Resources; Book # 307 DeWitt Nelson Forester It belonged to Frank Jenkins Asst. Ranger
This hand tyed and the oldest date is April 1945 with updates through-out. It came from Placer RangerUnit originally. I acquired it in 1986 or 87 when a Captain cleaned out the Prevention closet. I rescued it from the trash.. It had been on display at times where ever I was stationed, I would like to donate it to the Museum. Please send an address so that I can get it in the mail. My favorite section is in the personnel section Order P-7; appointments F 1-6. I sincerely hope this adds to the rich history of the department. Lynn Duncan
